Admission Procedure

Eligibility Criteria

For admission in Bvoc Programme

The minimum eligibility for admission in Bachelor of Vocational Studies (B.Voc) is 10+2 (in any Stream) or equivalent or a 2-year ITI Diploma after Class 10th or a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma after Class 10th

For Lateral Entry in B.Voc Programme

  • Candidate shall have passed a minimum THREE years/TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination in D.Voc Programme/Polytechnic/Diploma.
  • Students will be eligible for B.Voc Second Year admission in the same branch as per the branch of D.Voc/Polytechnic/Diploma.
  • Admissions will be made on a merit basis based on the results of
    D.Voc/Polytechnic/Diploma.
  • Candidates holding Certificate of NSQF Level 5 in relevant branch approved by NSDC.
  • Candidates who have successfully completed the FIRST year of B.Voc from any UGCrecognised University in the same/relevant branch.

Deposit of Fee

Selected candidates will have to deposit the fee within ten working days after the declaration of the Successful candidate’s list. In case the fee is not deposited in the stipulated time, the student’s claim to the admission expires & the same will be passed on to the first waiting list candidates.

Students can pay the fee by any mode – Online/ Cheque/Draft.

At the time of deposit of fees, students need to deposit the original certificates with the Admission/Administration department & collect the receipt of the same.

Fees can be paid in cash at our campus/admission offices, or you can make online payments of all fees related to the Registration Fee/Academic Fee/Hostel Fee & Other Fees.

Academic Calendar

The academic calendar of Kalinga University will be followed for all academic and examination matters.

The students of the programme will be governed by the University rules in regard to minimum attendance and evaluation for the award of Degree Certificates. Students shall abide by the statutes, ordinances, rules, and regulations of the University that are in force from time to time. They shall give due respect to the teachers and staff of the University and shall display decent and cordial behaviour to fellow students.

NOTE:

The admission rules, including eligibility criteria and procedures, are subject to alteration at any time without notice. Candidates who are finally selected for admission will be required to show the originals of all their certificates for verification. The decision of the University in all matters relating to admission shall be final. Disputes, if any, will be subject to the jurisdiction of Raipur courts only.

A candidate, who furnishes particulars which are found to be false or suppress material information, will not be considered for admission. In such a case, notwithstanding Legal action under the law of the land, his/her admission shall be cancelled, and all fees deposited by him/her shall be forfeited.
