Robotics
Technology in robotics has revolutionized the way industries operate, improving efficiency, accuracy, and safety across multiple domains. In modern times, industries still dependent on manual, repetitive, or hazardous tasks are falling behind in productivity and global competitiveness. Robotics involves the design, construction, operation, and application of intelligent machines capable of performing tasks in a range of environments.
There are many types of robotic systems, from industrial robots and autonomous vehicles to service robots and robotic arms used in healthcare and manufacturing. These machines are widely adopted in sectors such as automotive, electronics, defense, agriculture, and logistics. Especially with the rise of artificial intelligence and automation, robotics has become a cornerstone of the future of work and smart technology integration.

Programme Objectives
The programme is designed to educate students for a future in robotics, where they will play a key role in automating tasks, designing intelligent systems, and advancing industrial innovation. Among the program’s objectives are the following:
- Develop a solid foundation in robotics engineering, automation systems, and mechatronics.
- Learn about the numerous types of robots used in different industries and their specific functions.
- Gain practical lessons on programming robotic systems, using sensors, and working with microcontrollers and actuators.
- Build abilities in troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving robotic equipment and embedded systems.
- Understand the integration of robotics with AI, IoT, and machine vision in smart automation.
